How to Apply for NDIS Funding
Applying for the NDIS
To apply for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you must first review the NDIS Access Requirements and then fill out an Access Request Form.
Goals and Needs
After your NDIS access has been approved, the next step is to think about your goals and the support you’ll need to reach them.
Planning Meeting
A representative of the NDIA will contact you or your nominee to have a planning conversation once your access to the NDIS has been confirmed and you have considered your objectives. Once it is finalized, your plan will give you individual funding that you control and can use however you want.
Put Your Plan into Action
When your first plan is complete, the NDIA will get in touch with you to find out how to put it into action.
Review
Your arrangement will be investigated like clockwork. You can look at what worked and what didn’t during the review phase and make any necessary adjustments.
