Home Modification

Home modifications encompass changes to a person’s living space such as; adjusting the structures, the layout, or fixtures, to help them move around safely and comfortably. For instance, installing grab bars in bathrooms, widening doorways for wheelchair accessibility, or lowering countertops for easier access in the kitchen. As an approved NDIS provider, The Inclusion Centre assists clients in improving their home environment to enhance independence, encourage participation, and ensure safety. With our team of experienced therapists, we evaluate and implement modifications personalized to each client’s needs. Examples include installing ramps for wheelchair access, adding handrails along staircases, or installing sensory lighting for individuals with visual impairments. By collaborating with clients, we aim to customize modifications that promote autonomy and safety within their homes.
